SheetStats Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026

SheetStats ("we") is a Google Sheets add-on. This policy explains what the add-on accesses and why.

What SheetStats accesses

• The current spreadsheet only. SheetStats uses Google's spreadsheets.currentonly permission. It can read and write only the spreadsheet you open it in, so it can read your selected ranges and write results. It cannot see your other files.
• Sidebar and menus. It uses the script.container.ui permission to show its sidebar and menu in Google Sheets.
• External requests. It uses the script.external_request permission for one purpose only: sending your Pro license key to our payment provider, Gumroad, to confirm it's valid.

What we store

• Small settings saved by Google Apps Script inside your Google account or spreadsheet: your monthly free-usage count, your license key and the date it was last checked, and your last Solver model setup.
• We do not operate servers that receive your spreadsheet data. Your spreadsheet contents never leave Google's systems because of SheetStats.

What we share

• Your license key is sent to Gumroad (gumroad.com) to verify a purchase. Gumroad processes payments under its own privacy policy.
• We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Google user data

SheetStats's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing your data

Uninstall SheetStats from Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons. Data stored with the spreadsheet (your saved Solver model) is deleted when you delete the spreadsheet. To remove your license from an account, use Account → Remove license in the sidebar.
